Questions about the check
Where does the information in the check come from?
Entry rules and vaccine recommendations come from the German Federal Foreign Office's travel and safety advice, yellow fever details also from the WHO country list, and malaria advice from the DTG recommendations. As of Oct 2026. Each destination page lists its sources.
Does the check replace a consultation?
No. The check shows what the sources recommend in general. Whether a vaccine makes sense for you depends on your health, previous vaccinations, route and travel style. A travel health consultation clarifies this.
Is my input stored?
No. The check runs entirely in your browser. Your choices are neither transmitted nor stored.
My destination is missing. What now?
The check currently covers 30 popular long-haul destinations. For all other countries, see the German Federal Foreign Office's travel advice. A travel clinic can advise on any destination.
